It is with a heavy heart that I pass on the news that Ron Asheton has passed away at the age of 60. He was found dead in his Michigan home yesterday. Cause of death is yet to be determined. Originally born in DC, he was best know as a founding member and guitarist for the Stooges. Read more about him here. Thanks to Jimmy Askew for the original post.
